Does not stand behind their engines
This company won't even tell you a part number if you want to replace a part after the warranty ..why would anyone buy an engine from a company that won't stand behind their products and help you with even a part number! I seriously don't know how they stay in business, I feel I've been made a fool buying this!!

Jasper engine co are criminals
Bought a brand new engine that burned excessive amounts of oil so it was replaced under warranty. one year and about 10,000 miles later the supposedly new engine breaks the timing chain and destroyed the engine.
2 bad engines.
$7000 dollars down the drain and im stranded
They got violent with me on the phone when I asked them to make it right. they don't care as their trash makes it through the warranty

Product failure
Had a transmission replaced and within a month complete failure. Know Im out a vehicle once again.
Spent $5000.00 getting it replaced and all they can tell my mechanic is we have an open ticket on it. Have had to borrow a car, got left on the roadside.
I heard good things but my experience has been terrible so far. Compensation would help my pain.

We installed a jasper motor, started the motor, it smoked right away. Then came a miss on one cylinder.
After pulling the engine and valve covers. It broke a rocker arm, scored the cam shaft.
Looks to be a bad valve guide.
They took the motor apart, found what I believe is a valve guide in the cylinder. They replaced the motor but blamed us on the parts found in the cylinder.
They will not pay me to re-install engine. Buyer BEWARE

Rebuilt engine only lasted 100.000 miles
Rods started knocking full of oil think oil pump went bad. Taking motor out to find problem. Would not suggest jasper.

Defect no warranty help
Transmission has made a noise in reverse and does not move when paced in reverse. Multiple documented complaints by installer but Jasper will do nothing.
They want me to take the vehicle to a local tranny shop for diagnosis and repair.
I offered to have Jasper remove the transmission and take it to their shop but they refused. Pretty sorry outfit.

Looking for a special diff locker

I think that LockRight used to produce a suitable locker, but it is no longer available...

Poor quality product and warranty policy
After 2 bad engines, they want to send me a third engine, but won't cover the labor involve for installing and removal of their bad engines.

My F-150 is on the third jasper engine in less than 30 days. I should be compensated for loss time!

Their Warranty is (NO GOOD)
Blew two of their patched up engines, only got a little less than 300 miles out of the first engine, had to get multiple mechanics to baby it to Alaska there hired a real mechanic and custom built that engine, valves not seating, cam bent 4 degrees, vertical scratches in the cylinder, (from engine dry started), Customer Service ( SUCKS) ( THE MECHANICS THAT SUGGESTED THEM, I DON'T THINK THEY KNEW ANY BETTER)

They sell pure junk
On March 19, 2018 the auto repair shop informed us that the engine on our equinox with 60,300 miles was gone and he recommended that we put in a new engine. The engine would have a 3 year / 100,000 mile warranty.
We were told if we put in this Jasper engine we would not have to pay for any engine related repairs for the length of the warranty. So we paid $6826.29 and picked up our equinox on March 27, 2018. In April 2019 that Jasper engine died. Instead of taking that engine out and putting in another engine Jasper engine told the shop they just needed to fix it and it took 3.5 weeks to repair that engine.
It was at this point that we found out about the fabulous warranty that Jasper really gives you when you get one of their engines but no one tells you about until you try to have work done under their warranty. If you expect a shop to work on that engine you are suppose to buy an additional premium service plan. Under the basic warranty where you think you are completely covered, they only pay the shop $65 per hour labor and there is no shops that only charge $65 per hour. The shop that had our vehicle was unaware of this as were we.
Our vehicle ended up going back into the shop 4 times after that piece of junk Jasper engine was put in and the last time it was in the shop told us they would no longer work on that engine but they gave us a list of places that might work on it. Two days later the engine light was on and vehicle was running like crap again. We called those other shops and not one of them would work on this Jasper engine under that warranty. We traded that vehicle in while it was still running in a forward motion.
So, we got screwed over by Jasper Engine as well as the shop that put it in.
I hope that when a shop tells someone they need a new engine and they recommend Jasper, that people research Jasper engines and read the scam they pull on people with the complete junk they are selling as engines and run. Although this is just our story, each shop we called had nothing good to say about the Jasper engines nor the company itself.

Why would any engine fail at under 61,000 miles? Poor design, and or, poor non existent maintanence by the owner.Either way, this review is questionable and not to be considered.

DON'T WASTE TIME AND MONEY !
Blew original engine in Arkansas it made it almost 300 Miles and blew another one ! Their warranty is a joke, never got a dime from the LIAR'S !!
After finally making it to Alaska, I had to pay a REAL MECHNIC to rebuild the last one ! LIAR'S

Bad gasketing
318 dodge jasper engine---engine runs fine for 160,000 now--but when got it installed my mechanic said he was disappointed that they were using victor gaskets instead of a quality one like fel-pro--sure enough!!!---- at about 50,000 miles oil leaks spang up everywhere---apparently they are using cheap gaskets as a profit booster-----am disappointed that otherwise good engine was outfitted with cheap gaskets---probably will look elsewhere if need to purchase a re-man engine in the future

They send wrong engine and will not compesate for 3 days of lost time on a bay and technitian.
